Portugal has one of the largest Dave Matthews Band fan bases outside of the United States, so it’s no surprise they chose Lisbon for the last stop of their 2024 European tour. Lots of US fans are making the trek to the “city of seven hills” for the show on May 5, 2024.
My husband James and I visited Lisbon in October 2022 and fell in love with the city. I’ve included some of the top things to do below in addition to some of our favorite tips and tricks.

Top things to do in Lisbon!
Wander through Alfama: This historic neighborhood is known for its narrow streets, medieval houses, and fado music.

See the National Tile Museum: This museum is home to a collection of Portuguese tiles, or azulejos.
Explore the LX Factory: This former industrial complex has been transformed into a trendy neighborhood with shops, restaurants, bars, and art galleries.
